Ville-Marie explores the complex relationship between glamourous French actress Sophie (Monica Bellucci) and her estranged gay son Thomas (Aliocha Schneider) as he presses her for the identity of his father. Paramedic Pierre (Patrick Hivon) and ER nurse Marie (Pascale Bussières) are brought into the mix after Thomas witnesses a tragedy on a street corner in the Ville-Marie neighbourhood of Montreal. As the film unfolds, Thomas, Sophie and the medical team struggle to cope with the trauma while battling inner demons of their own.
