Quotes:

“…EDGE OF THE KNIFE NAILS ITS MOST IMPORTANT SCENES AND MAKES A VERY SPECIFIC STORY FEEL UNIVERSAL”

- Matthew Paradis, Cinema Axis

“THE REMOTENESS OF THE LOCATION LENDS ITSELF WELL TO THIS STORY SET AT A TIME WHEN THE CANOE WAS THE MAIN FORM OF TRANSPORT AND ONE LOOKED TO THE SKY TO DETERMINE THE WEATHER. IT’S A COMPELLING TALE THAT THRIVES IN ITS LONG STRETCHES OF MINIMAL TO NO DIALOGUE.”
- Norm McGlashan, Flick Hunter

“WHAT REALLY STICKS IS THE RECONSTRUCTED SLICES OF EVERYDAY LIFE…IN THAT AND OTHER SENSES, THIS KNIFE STAYS VERY SHARP INDEED”

- Ken Eisner, Georgia Straight
